Georgia Murray
Occupational Therapist and Director of Lifted Occupational Therapy
Graduating in 2017 with a bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours), Georgia since found her passion for mental health and advocacy. Georgia works with a trauma informed approach and incorporates sensory modulation and functional approaches to support people to engage in everyday occupations from shopping, cooking, maintaining housing, parenting and relationships. Georgia has experience in acute adolescent mental health, adult community mental health, case management, paediatrics, and experience working with vulnerable families and children. Georgia also has experience working with individuals with ASD as well as physical and intellectual disabilities.
Georgia’s mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every individual feels supported and valued. Through compassionate and personalised care, Georgia strives to uplift and empower each person she works alongside, enabling them to reach their fullest potential and lead fulfilling lives.
Outside of work, you’ll find Georgia spending time with her husband and two children, outdoors in nature, swimming at the beach, pilates and enjoying delicious meals!
